About Unlisted Key

A specialist information and enquiry platform for India's unlisted and pre-IPO share market.

India’s unlisted market runs on scattered information. The same company is quoted at three different prices by three different dealers, financials circulate as screenshots, and the question of whether a listing is actually coming is answered by whoever is selling. We built Unlisted Key because the gap between that and what a listed-market investor takes for granted is unreasonably wide.

What we do

We maintain structured company records for 26 unlisted and pre-IPO companies: identity and incorporation details, multi-year financials as reported, shareholding, management, corporate events, documents and IPO status. Valuation ratios are derived from those reported figures rather than stored, so they are reproducible from the data on the page. Indicative prices are collected from dealer quotes, dated, and published with the number of quotes behind them.

Alongside that, we run an enquiry desk. When you want to buy or sell, you raise an enquiry, we confirm availability and a firm price, and the transaction settles directly between you and the counterparty through your own demat account. There is no order book and no obligation until you agree a price.

What we are not

We are not a stock exchange, a broker or an investment adviser. We do not hold client securities or client funds. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and the presence of a company in our coverage is not an endorsement of it. Unlisted securities are illiquid and carry a real risk of permanent loss.

Every figure carries a source

A number without a provenance is a rumour. Each financial year, each price and each document on this site names where it came from and when it was last touched.

Fact and opinion stay separate

Reported figures are labelled as reported. Where we express a view, it is marked as our view, and we say where a reasonable reader could disagree.

Risk is stated, not buried

Illiquidity, lock-in and listing uncertainty appear on the company page itself, not only in a policy document nobody reads.

We are not a broker or an exchange

We publish information and facilitate enquiries. We do not run an order book, hold your securities or your money, or give investment advice.
