Cancelling an enquiry
An enquiry can be cancelled at any stage before a price is confirmed, at no cost and with no obligation. Cancel from My Enquiries in your account or by writing to the desk.
After price confirmation
Once a price is confirmed and funds have been transferred, cancellation depends on whether the counterparty has already initiated the share transfer. Where the transfer has not started, funds are returned to the originating bank account within five working days.
Failed settlements
If a transfer cannot be completed — for example because the counterparty defaults or a demat detail is incorrect — funds are returned in full to the originating account. We do not charge a fee in that situation.
